What If You're Overlooking Your Greatest Gifts

What if you've been overlooking some of your greatest gifts simply because they come so naturally to you?

Maybe you're the one people call when they need clarity. Or you have a knack for bringing people together.

How about your ability to take a messy idea and turn it into something simple, or see possibilities that others don't.

Maybe you have a story that's shaped the way you see the world in a way no one else can replicate.

And because these things come naturally to you, you might think,"Oh, that's just me."

And I say, Exactly! That's the point!

What comes naturally to you might not feel particularly special because you've been doing it for so long. But that doesn't mean it isn't valuable.

In fact, some of your greatest gifts may be the very things you've been overlooking because they feel so normal and natural to you.

And you know what else?

Your gifts aren't just things you were given to make your life better. What if they're also part of what you're here to contribute?

Think about that for a minute.

There are people you're able to reach because of your particular story. There are solutions you're able to see because of your unique perspective.

There are also things you can create, teach, build, say, or bring to life because of your unique combination of experiences and gifts.

Nobody else has your exact combination, and that matters.

And, when you keep those gifts locked away because of fear and thinking you're not ready, good enough or worried about what people think, you're not just holding yourself back. You're also holding back something that could help someone else.

And honestly?

This fear and limiting story is costing you.

It's costing you impact. It's costing you the opportunity to serve, and the wealth and success that comes through service.

You can make a differenceandmake money.

You can serve othersandbe well compensated for what you bring to the world, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Now, I'm not saying you need to put yourself out there in some huge, dramatic way. Maybe your next step is much smaller.

Your next step might be finally acknowledging something you've been minimizing and start sharing an idea.

It might mean applying for the opportunity, starting the project, or charging for something you've always given away.

Maybe it's simply allowing yourself to say, "You know what? This is something I'm actually really good at."

No shrinking, pretending or waiting for someone else to give you permission.

Just being willing to recognize what's already there and let more of it show up in your life.

Because your gifts aren't random.

They're clues.

Clues about what matters to you, what you have to offer, and maybe even what you're here to do.

So, I ask...

What's something you do naturally that you've been treating like it's no big deal?

Don't dismiss it.

It's time to pay more attention to it.
