"Where you now stand is a result of thoughts and feelings that you have offered before, but where you are going is a result of your perspective of where you now stand."

What a week I just had!

Well, what an exciting week I just had. I did plan to have the second episode of My Empowered Living TV today, but I wanted to use this time to say a big thank you and to share with you an incredible opportunity that I had this past week!I am so grateful for all the feedback last week on the debut of My Empowered Living TV. It seems like the message "It does not need to be perfect, it just needs to be shared" really resonated with you.

So, it’s the last day of August, which means we have 4 more months left in the year. If you’re like most people, you started off the year with specific goals and list of accomplishments for 2014. And like most people, you probably either have given up on your goals and vision, or you’re struggling to achieve it. If you’re at the stage where you feel about to give up (or have given up), this post is for you!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is a special day for me! I sit here grateful to be celebrating my 35th birthday! Every birthday I love to reflect back on the year and take note of all the blessings in my life. This particular birthday is somewhat extra special for me, as it was a year that I felt I would truly come into my own. I actually came across recently a goal list I wrote back in August 10, 2009 when I celebrated my 30th birthday. I wanted to share with you 3 long-term goals I had written 5 years ago today. They were as follows:

Have you ever felt a pang of jealousy when you came across someone doing great things? You read their success story or post and instant popularity and wonder if it’s really possible for you to have the same. Or, someone who seems to generate great results with such ease, and although you want to be happy for them, you get this sense of deflation and feeling in the pit of your stomach and you wonder “why them and not me”?

I write a lot about the creation process and the steps needed to manifest your goals and create your dream lifestyle. However, there is a key concept that I’ve not written before, which has been coming up for me recently. This concept promises to be a game-changer, and may be the very reason why you’re not seeing the results you want!

What’s your definition of success?

It’s fair to say that most of us are in a state of constant striving. Whether it’s striving to build a better business, career, relationship, body etc., there is always some goal that we have and are always chasing. To be honest, I would say everyone fits this criterion, because it is a human need to always be reaching and striving for more success in our lives.
