Mastin has a way of connecting with his readers in a deep authentic way and he is on a mission to share love wherever he goes. I know, like many of his readers, I always come across the right post just when I need it. He is truly one of…

Feel Free to Prosper by Marilyn Jenett

This month’s Stuff We Love is something I am SUPER excited to share with you. About late summer/early fall last year, I came across a prosperity teacher named Marilyn Jenett. I heard Marilyn speak on a call and was instantly drawn to her teachings. Marilyn is the creator of a program called Feel Free to Prosper. She was very clear and had a knack of explaining Universal Laws in simple and understandable terms. I’ve heard her speak on three different occasions and it was on the third call that circumstances lined up for me to purchase her program Feel Free to Prosper. I am in week 2 of the 2-month online program and all I can say is that so…

Sandy Hook Promise

I am so proud to announce this month's feature on the Sandy Hook Promise (SHP). I remember, just like everyone being so devastated and heart broken when I first heard the news. SHP is a non-profit organization led by community members and several parents and spouses who lost loved ones in the tragic mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012 that claimed the lives of 20 first-graders and 6 educators. As their website states, their mission is twofold. 1) Prevent the causes of gun violence by educating and empowering parents to make changes in their community that will not only prevent tragedies like Sandy Hook, but also the hundreds of thousands of other acts of gun…

Super Soul Sunday on OWN

Okay, so if you've followed my posts for a while, or if you know me personally, then you know how much I love Oprah. I am so excited to feature her Emmy Award winning show Super Soul Sunday for this month's Stuff We Love feature. This show I can honestly say is food to my soul, and one of my spiritual practices. Many of my favourite teachers have been featured on this show, and I've been privileged to be introduced to other new teachers from this show, Brené Brown and Panache Desai just to name a few. There has been so many aha moments for me during the show that has added to all areas of my life. I am…

The Courage to Fly Project

Last week, I mentioned that I am a contributor to The Courage to Fly Project book. This project is led by Chantelle Adams, who was inspired by her children's effort of building a school in Africa. She was also inspired by the death of a good friend from breast cancer and the regrets of her friend of all the things she was afraid to do. This was the birth of The Courage to Fly Project, where Chantelle is taking on her fear of heights and jumping out of plane at 10,000ft to raise $10,000 to build a school in Nicaragua. She jumped on August 27th, but the fundraiser still goes on. We are almost half way there! Check out her…
