4 Questions to keep you on track this month and beyond!

Written by

So, we’ve completed month 1 of 2014! Wow, it still amazes me to see how time continues to fly. This is why I felt moved for this week’s post to be about taking inventory of the month of January.

This is something that I plan to do every month, because as I mentioned time flies, and we often think we have so much time to accomplish our goals and do things that truly matter. However, we will turn around and one day realize that half the year has already gone by.

This year is truly a monumental one for me as I personally have so much to look forward too. I’m welcoming a new addition to my family in 3 short months (whoa!), and then in September I prepare to have my 3-year old son start school (yes, I will need a box of tissue!). I also set a goal to launch 2 programs, and finally start working on my book.

With all of this comes planning and being disciplined, which does not always come easy for me. I am a personal development junkie and with so many amazing programs out there, I find myself sucked into the vortex of researching more and more things. I also love looking into these things in order to share with you, to help you create the life of your dreams. Also, I must admit, I can get pulled into social media (mainly Facebook for me).

This is why I felt the need to do a monthly round up, to ensure that I am not only making progress towards my goals, but I am also taking the time to schedule in important things that matter the most to me. So, I ask you to review the following questions for yourself and see what areas of opportunities you can take advantage of for February!

Q.1) What went well this month?

Q.2) What areas do you feel you could have improved upon?

For me I found it a challenge to be consistent with my prenatal yoga home video. This will be an area of focus for me, especially as I enter my last trimester.

Q.3) How well did you do at keeping up with your goals?

Personally, my core desired feelings were: freedom, connection, joy, prosperous, bold/daring greatly and significance. I am happy to report that each week, I did something that made me take on those feelings. It was as small as getting a pedicure to feel prosperous, to sending out my announcement of my new and upcoming program in order to feel daring.

Q.4) What can you commit to this month to help you move towards your goals?

My commitment is to make sure I show up and do my part in the co-creation process and ensure that I align my thoughts, beliefs and actions to be consistent to that which I want.  I will also commit to continuing my practice of doing something weekly that is consistent to my core desired feelings.

February is also all hands on deck to launching my first online program, which I am so excited to share with the world.

Now your turn, how did January go for you? What are you going to continue or do differently for February? Please share below.
