"Where you now stand is a result of thoughts and feelings that you have offered before, but where you are going is a result of your perspective of where you now stand."

Here's how to get what you want!

Written by

So many people have beautiful visions of how they wish to live their life. They have found their passion and purpose and dream to one day share it with the world on a full-time basis. One of the things I've come to learn that is that the quickest way to achieve any goal and make your dreams a reality is to embody your goal and vision for your life.

I mentioned in a previous post about how one of the ways to achieve and manifest something is to act as if your goal and wish is already a present fact. This is something that seems so simplistic, however as most of us know simple does not necessary mean easy. In fact this is often very difficult for us to do because we are so used to living life based on our five senses. We look around us and think that what we see is the only reality for us and that our circumstances cannot change. We look outside of ourselves in order to make a change to better our lives, when really it's an internal job.

Embodying your goal means to act and feel as if your goal is a present fact. Be that person you aspire to be. Take on the feeling that you would have if you were experiencing it in your current reality. If you want happiness, FEEL HAPPY; if you want wealth, FEEL WEALTHY! I cannot stress enough the importance of this step. Be the person you wish to become! I love the quote "we attract what we are and not what we want." This is so important to remember because when we are being a certain way, we will attract and gather evidence to prove and sustain our efforts.

One reason why this works is that when we live our life from this place, we consciously influence our subconscious mind. Our subconscious mind controls the way we experience life. It automatically accepts anything that we repeatedly feed into it. So when we act and feel in a state of joy and gratitude as if we have that which we desire, it will work to gather evidence to prove our beliefs and feelings right.

Regardless of our circumstances, we can always find something to be grateful about in our lives. Embodying the person we aspire to be is the fastest way to get us to our goals. Your subconscious mind will take on the role of the person you are being and you will begin to attract circumstances to get you there. You open up your creative power to be able to recognize opportunities as they come into your life. You are also able to remove yourself from people and situations that are not aligned to your goals and make decisions from that place. You will no longer doubt yourself and play small, but rather stand in the power of your greatness. You will begin to build your service muscle and "go pro" at your endeavours because you will realize that in order to get the best, you must give your best. You will show up and play full out, no longer accepting less than what you deserve.

It is said that God/Universe/Source (insert what fits with your spiritual practice) does not give us any desire/passion/purpose without equipping us with the ability necessary to bring them about. So live from that place and know that you have all that you need to carry it out. Go about your day in faith and gratitude as if it has come to past, and you will one day be amazed at it becoming a reality in your physical world!
